In
the thousands years, as of the ancient
Wu Ling people got lost in their recognized
utopia, it is still and will always be
the same utopia. The recognized utopia
is like a pendulum, swing between dreams
and reality, in the past and current
eras.
The utopia is at Syuhai
It is like a dream place in Mudanwan

A1 Running Wave Area: before the road
construction along the coast, villagers had to
try to avoid the waves when passing through the
coast, and were often ‘chased’ by the waves, hence
named this place, “running wave area”.
A2 Floating Bridge: during raining season, the
river would rise up to 15 ~20 cm above the bridge,
cars and people would pass the bridge ‘floating’
in the river
A3 Xikou Sentry Post: the sentry post hid in the
valleys has great scenery.
A4 Lookout Point: look out to Guan Yin Bi, Green
Island, the beauty of the Easter coastline, able
to see the unusual scenery of the Lobster Blow
Hole.
A5 Lookout Point: look out to the south will see
the Gang Jhai Wan Jiou Peng Desert and also the
southern ocean entry point of the Central Mountain
Range.
A6 Gang Jhai: the fine sand from Gang Jhai to Jiou
Peng Costal line, from north to south.
A7 Jiou Peng: sand hills created due to eastern
and northern wind.
A8 Chu Feng Bi: the furthest south ocean entry
point of Central Mountain Range. |
B1 Syuhai Fishing Port
B2 Hunting Valley: during hunting, the aboriginals
like to make animals run into the two valleys
so it is easier for them to catch the animals.
B3 The Jurassic Park: when drive through the park,
its as if driving through the native forest area
in the Jurassic Park.
B4 Yuan Tou Mountain: the mountain that has the
look of an ape’s head.
B5 Rock Beach: the rarely seen pebble stone beach.
During winter when the waves are big, waves would
hit the coast with pebble stones and they would
make nice music during low tide.
B6 Guan Yin Nose: the mountain that has the look
of human’s nose.
B7 Gan Creek: hundreds years old autumn maple tree
and banyan. Can catch prawns in the creek, soak
your feet or just enjoy picnic under the shadows
of the trees.
S1 Emperor Lotus: after years of erosions, the
basalt on the beach has a shape like a natural
chaise, with a lump in the middle where people
can lye on each side of the lump.
S2 Lobster Blow Hole: formed of coral reefs, when
big waves hit the trench, it would create blow
fountain like the one in the Yellowstone Park,
which is definitely an unusual scene to see.
